My sweet baby boy sure does humor me! After waking him up from his nap and changing his outfit 3 times (two of his favorite things, let me tell you...) he still smiled for me and let us get some great shots.

Texas Roots

Today Micah got to embrace his Texas roots when we went to the Fort Worth Stock Yards. My wonderful friend Erica from college drove all the way from Austin with her two kiddos and mom just to see us while we were here! We were so excited to get to spend time with all of them. I hadn't seen Peyton since he was a baby and I have never gotten to meet Hayley and she is 20 mo old! This visit was WAY overdue!

Old Friends and New Friends

Yesterday Micah and Caleb finally got to meet! Natalie is one of my oldest friends and if you remember from other blog posts Caleb was born only 2 weeks and 2 days before Micah. It was almost exactly a year ago when we both found out we were pregnant and we were sharing our secret with each other, a year later here we are getting to introduce our little men!

Now if you think it is hard to get a good shot of one baby, try photographing two simultaneously! Wow! In most of them at least one of the boys is blurry but oh well we tried and commemorated the moment!

It runs in his blood...

Micah had his first airplane ride yesterday and he did great! I guess you could say it runs in his blood! This was quite an adventure and we really weren't too sure how it would go. Micah is usually pretty easy going, but waking him up at 5 am and shuffling him around through airports just didn't seem like a recipe for success. He impressed me again though!

Before we took off we spent a few last minutes playing with Daddy. He was loving time with his favorite guy as always.

Then he realized Daddy wasn't coming with us and he wasn't quite as happy. This is the goodbye hug.

We made it through security relatively uneventfully and headed to the gate and on to the plane. The lucky little guy even got upgraded to first class! Thank you Delta Platinum status! He just better not get used to it! I stretched him out in the seat while I got us situated.

Our seat neighbor on our flight to Columbia was so nice and didn't mind sitting next to us at all. He even volunteered to take a picture of us together to commemorate the moment.

Micah did so well on the flight. He barely even fussed. He looked out the window, ate some breakfast, and took a nap to pass the time. At the end of the flight I had several people come up to me and tell me how good he was on the plane!

After a quick connection and a sprint through the airport we headed to Dallas. The flight attendants on this flight were just smitten with the little charmer and we spend some time talking with them up front to stretch our legs and pass the time.

The flight attendants said we couldn't leave without getting a picture in the cock pit. The captain even let Micah wear his hat! Priceless!

Our flight arrived 40 min early and we were there in one piece with all of our luggage. Sounds like a success to me!

Tickle Monster

Micah is starting to get ticklish spots and Mommy and Daddy love to take advantage of this to see our sweet baby laugh! This video is particularly funny because he gets so worked up about getting tickled he not only laughs but gives a little toot. Sometimes I think we are not nearly mature enough to be parents...
