We did a little reading and Brad did a little swimming.
We got to the beach early and parked our towels by the Port Hilton Pier.
Another view of our beautiful home for the week from the beach!
We spent the rest of the day walking around the Waikiki area and exploring the shops, restaurants, and hotels. I think this one little strip of beach has more wealth than the whole state of South Carolina! We saw some pretty ritzy names! I am still convincing Brad that we definitely do need to visit Tiffany's. We will see how that goes! One thing that really floored us was that we saw a Cheesecake Factory while we were exploring and decided that would be great for dinner. Apparently so did all of Honolulu! There were so many people there I couldn't even get to the hostess stand to ask how long the wait was. We ended up eating at a place called Yardhouse instead with a similar menu and had a great dinner.
Tomorrow we will try to get out a be a bit more adventurous!

Sounds like fun! I highly suggest trying out Cheeseburgers in Paradise. There are 2 on Kalakaua Avenue. The one I recommend is right across the street from the beach, it's 2500 Kalakaua Ave. You can watch the surfers across the street and enjoy the sunset while eating their AMAZING onion rings (and cheeseburgers)! Try the onion rings with ranch dressing, it's really good.
There's also a yummy breakfast spot called Eggs N Things. Sam Choy (a world-renowned chef) has a great restaurant called Breakfast, Lunch, and Crab. I hope you guys have a blast! We sure did.
I am SO JEALOUS right now!!! It looks beautiful there. Glad you are having a good time. Missed you at the coffee tonight. And you look great by the way. No one would know you have a baby baking in that belly. :)
