A Big Day for Brad!

You may remember 9 months ago when I wrote on the blog about how Brad was going to be attending Weapons School for the Air Force.  He started in January and we just finished the long and grueling 6 months apart.  We are all so glad to be back together and Brad is overjoyed to have this feat behind him.

I got to go out to Vegas last week for all of the graduation festivities while our family helped us with Micah.  It was a wonderful time!

I got to start off my weekend with a fun Girls day with my friend Kara.  It involved pedicures and pools.  Life is good!

Brad's graduation present... in his dreams!

The weekend consisted of two main events.  On Thursday there is Patch night.  There is a special patch that only graduates of Weapons School (Weapons officers) get to wear.  On Thursday night they get to be "patched" and they receive their special patch.  After all they long hours and hard work this night is a special time for them.  The wives of the instructors also put on a special night for the student's wives.  They get a bus to take us all to the strip and we have dinner and get to take pictures at the top of the Rio.  Both Brad and I had a really fun night!

On Saturday they have graduation where all of the graduates of the entire school walk across the stage.  They have a big banquet with dinner, a speaker, history and awards and then the graduates walk the stage.  There were 93 graduates from all disciplines (9 are F-16) and there were about 1200 people there!  It was a big deal!  We are so proud of Brad and just so so happy to have our family back together and be getting on with our life together!
