Teeth part 2

Tooth number two was, as expected, right behind number one. On Thursday the second tooth broke through. So he now has his bottom left and right center teeth. I have to say he is a whole different baby when he is teething. I can't imagine how much it must hurt because he is actually a pretty tough guy and doesn't cry much when he gets hurt. Friday and today have been quite a bit better. I am not at all excited for more teeth coming in though!

Teeth!

We have a tooth! It has not been fun but Micah finally got a tooth through yesterday! It is his bottom front left tooth. I am pretty sure the right tooth is just right behind it because the fussiness, drooling and chewing continues and you can see it just trying to break through! So far I am not a big fan of this teething business!

Beach Boy!

The only thing Micah loves more than the ocean is spending time with his daddy! Just watch!

6 Month Photos

We had another photo shoot with Raleigh! We are so lucky to have such a talented friend!


Micah was in one of his "teething" moods so that is just a testament to Raleigh's talent to see how well the photos came out. We will have part two of the photo session to get family photos in a couple of weeks. Let me know which is your favorite so I can figure out which ones to order!

Some fun times

I just uploaded pics from "the other camera." It is the one Brad mainly uses but we do take a few pics of Micah on it occasionally. I haven't downloaded pics from it for awhile but found some fun shots so I thought I would share!





I thought it was pretty funny when I put my sunglasses on Micah but I don't know... Maybe it is his style, haha!



Our niece Jordan has always sucked her two middle fingers instead of her thumb. Micah still doesn't regularly suck on his fingers but occasionally will get the thumb in there. The other day though we caught him sucking on the middle ones, so this is for you Jordie!

First Day of "School"

I joined an organization here in Sumter called MOPS (Mothers Of Preschoolers). I am really excited about it because it seems like it should be a great way to meet other Moms of young kids in the area. It is hosted by the church we go to which is great because it is just around the corner from our house. We get to go twice a month and Micah goes to his class and I get to hang out with the moms. We had our first day of MOPS last Thursday and we were ready to go! Since I have never been I didn't really know what to expect but there were about 100 girls there. Everyone is randomly assigned to a table you will sit at for the remainder of the semester. I didn't know anyone at my table so I will get to make lots of new friends. Throughout the year they will have speakers, play games, make crafts and have outings. It seems like it will be a great time. Micah had a little bit of a tougher time because unfortunately MOPS was right in the middle of his nap time. And wouldn't you know that he was the only baby in that room that wouldn't take a nap in the nursery! The workers were great though and said he was a great baby, just a little tired (and fussy). We will ave to try to figure out a way to get him a little nap in before we go next time or something!
